My name is Ellen and I am a fully certified Level 3 Pilates instructor.  To my Pilates teaching, I bring a background in Adult Nursing (Rehabilitation, Older Persons, Cardiology and Respiratory).  I draw on my experience of mobility and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to plan each class.  I like to bring a holistic approach to Pilates for relevant connection with health and well being.  The values of mobilising and flexibility to allow activities of daily living, as well as strength training to positively impact on your movement and sports.

I know Pilates is a great form of exercising and alongside my Pilates practice, I enjoy running, cycling and walking.  Years ago when I first discovered Pilates, I initially noticed how improved my flexibility was when cleaning and gardening and then my Pilates practice has led to improved ease of mobility and flexibility, increased strength and improved sports performance.  

My aim is to teach and lead a session where you feel motivated, enjoy a focused, low impact workout, connect breath and body awareness, and leave feeling energised.
